Sensei original is pretty good, but i personally don't like the shiny body, i liked Xai's body.

One very weird thing might be positive or negative how ever you guys wanna put it, is that at 125 hz i noticed the acceleration issue was literally GONE thumb.gif Anyone has tried this yet???

Please some one confirm this, i played with my sensei 400dpi at 125hz and noticed the acceleration was literally gone or was minimum on my QCK fnatic. (WEIRRREDDDD) tongue.gif

Rest assured Razer taipan is also a good mouse, have been using it since 2 weeks now, haven't had any issues with it. One thing to note about the taipan is a smoothing agent or some might say it lags or is slower than other mice on comparative dpis.

Example ill give you with my intelli1.1a i used 2.8 sensitivity in cs1.6 but with my taipan i use 2.85 wink.gif sensitivity to give me the same feeling with my Razer taipan. All in all nice built quality of both mice with each having there pros and cons. thumb.gif

Your *famous* taipan review aside, I think someone has to retest the 5% +/- acceleration on Avago 9500/9800 sensors in different mice and settings and on different pads rather than relying forever on the test data from Xai using a particular setting on a particular mouse pad. Unless I've missed something, that Xai graph is the only data in support of the acceleration?

Bro I'm talking about my sensei here, yea i guess the xai depicted similar behavior but I'm not sure, i haven't used my xai since a long time. And yea i did lots of testing, and it was trial and error that i discovered this weird sensor behavior thumb.gif

What is a "Vanilla" Sensei?

The Avago 9800 still have their issues?

Vanilla is just used to mean plain or regular, so it would be referring to the original Sensei.
