What exactly happened with existing images in threads? I'm not sure if this happened with the most recent release or not.
I have a build log that kind of got a little messed up. I had been uploading all my images using the image uploader with the largest size (500 px), and they worked before as links to the bigger pictures. Now it is simply just the image, some random widths of 500, 650 up to 900 px without links to the original image.
Here is one example of the most recent batch of images uploaded, the original image is quite large. Also any idea why the "alt" text for the small image is set to "1000" by Huddler?
Embeded URL: http://cdn.overclock.net/3/3b/500x1000px-LL-3bc7f9a2_DSC00760.jpeg
Full size URL: http://cdn.overclock.net/3/3b/3bc7f9a2_DSC00760.jpeg
Now what's nice is it's easy to get to the main image by removing "500x1000px-LL-" from the URL, but now all the images need to be fixed and/or re-uploaded.
I'm not sure exactly how much storage OCN servers have, but I'm sure it's not best to go and re-upload 50+ build log hi-res pictures so that they properly embed with Huddler. Does the image uploader check to see if a "image from URL" is already on OCN's image server?
It would be nice to be able to manually "re-embed" a post or thread and just resize all images to small, medium, or large and link the full original image without re-uploading. I do realize this would involve quite a bit of work though, checking each image URL to see if it is a "version" of the original image like the example I posted.
