Hey, that actually has a reasonable bezel on the bottom. If it's IPS, I might get 3 for a triple portrait monitor setup.

It is IPS, albeit very cheap so there's definitely some form of downside.

The problem being I'm in Australia, I'm fairly certain that there's not many 100% chance of an overclockable Catleap sales around here.

OMG this had me laughing soooo hard when I read that, i guess people really like different things. The whole screen size is king doesn't work for me but to each his own. I thought of this analogy to describe the differences between this monitor and 1440p monitors priced around $600-700: A few years ago you decide to buy a new TV - you want a 50" TV and there are 2 models available, Model A and Model B. Both models are identical in every way except 1 - Model A is 720p and Model B is 1080p. Model A is priced at $500 while Model B is priced at $1000. It's not that one model is "better" than another, but rather if the clarity difference between 720p and 1080p is worth the extra $500.

I'm looking to buy 3 monitors to run in a surround setup and I would like to find a monitor that fit these specifications: 24inch IPS 1920x1080 LED (not a deal breaker) with the smallest bezel possible. I was considering the LG IPS237 but I want a 24". I would appreciate any recommendations on as close to the specs I listed as possible.

One more thing I had to say about AOC is where is the 23-24" model? Now that would be a product I'd be interested in. I'm wondering if AOC's press release screwed something up regarding the 2mm bezel because I found this on their site "The ultra-narrow bezel measures just 5.8mm, for a borderless appearance that is ideally suited for use in a dual monitor or multiple monitor setup."

The ultra-narrow bezel measures just 5.8mm, for a borderless appearance that is ideally suited for use in a dual monitor or multiple monitor setup.

I think when they mean bezel-less they are referring to its appearance and there needs to be some clarification - I don't think they were intentionally misleading people, its just they didn't describe the feature very well. These would still be good for surround / eyefinity because the area where the edges of the monitor meet there would be wouldn't be a raised up (relative to the glass) outer frame.

I don't understand why no one is making a 22-24" 2560x1440 IPS panel - they'd sell so those things so fast, I know I would buy one in a heartbeat. 120-130ppi would be great. And it could slot in real nice between a 24" @ 1920x1080 and 27" @ 2560x1440. Its a little strange that the demand of people who want higher PPI monitors isn't being met.
