HD 7950 crossfire issues - Page 10

Hi guys, I've been having problems with my Gigabyte 7950 CF setup with a 1440p monitor, running beta 8 drivers right now. I get like 20 FPS in Crysis 3 and around 20-30 in certain map parts of Guild Wars 2. I was wondering if anyone here can share some input about using Windows 8 or 8.1 since I recently bought a product key. Right now, I'm using Windows 7 and at this point, the low FPS for these games really makes me just want to reformat and hope that the problems go away in that way. I really would like to ask for ANY opinion about this. Please, I keep waiting for an answer from this thread but nobody ever seems to reply.

*The latest thing I've tried is the ATIMan uninstaller then reinstalled Beta 8 drivers again. It still does not work.

use this to uninstall AMD/NVIDIA drivers. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/550192/geforce-drivers/display-driver-uninstaller-ddu-v6-3/
It works for both AMD and NVIDIA. Goodluck!

Thanks, I seem to be able to get good fps(40-ish) on medium settings @ 1440p(is this an ideal number for crossfire?) on crysis 3 but Guild Wars 2 performance is the same. Is there any way for me to indicate that this may be a hardware problem?
