Bitfenix Shinobi Pipe

EDIT: Project put on hold October due to a new project beeing done before this one.

Had a Shinobi in its box for some time now, have thought about making a special build for long time.
This will be a small mod, just some changes to the case to try my idea. For me its the modding i enjoy, not the finished result smile.gif
The case will be sold after its done and profit goes to a collection of a man with Leukemia and his family just loose their house. (local swedish collection, not worldwide known)

So... Pipe and Shinobi.
Now its off to the plumber to pick up some copper pipes and a bend-thingy.
I have a plan, its in my head and i dont really have time to put it down on a 3D model smile.gif

Got this german edition from my dealer to a good price. I have the USB3 from another shinobi taking place in this one.

From another case im working on (sponsored one) i have some Bitfenix logos in 1mm Aluminium left over, will probably use some of this to the pipe version too.

Nice, I am looking forward to this, especially since I am wanting to get the same case (also the Germany Edition) for a gold-themed build.
So, if I may:
How golden is the golden Bitfenix logo?
Would the red vents match MDPC sleeving?

Oh, and welcome to OCN!

Thank you biggrin.gif If you have any paracord that matches, mind telling the colour name?

I guess this is going to be water cooled because otherwise I don't know what the pipes would be used for. I look forward to seeing how you will fit radiators into this tongue.gif

Radiator in my other shinobi (in/outlet facing wrong way), not fastened correctly, but plenty of room wink.gif
240 rad, i think 30mm thick.

About the pipes in this build, wait and see smile.gif

Always love to see another shinobi mod here! One question though, have you fitted the rad and fans inside yet with the Motherboard in place? I know I wasn't able to manage that with my shinobi, but I'm using a 280 in the top instead of a 240. Anyways, Good luck with it and can't wait to see the finished product!

Rad first, motherboard after. Fans outside the case. Pic is from my other Shinobi case mod, as you can see more pics of here with rad and fan locations -> http://forum.overclock3d.net/showthread.php?t=43716
Hope its ok to link another forum, since im unable to pay to show a sponsored case mod here smile.gif

But this new case mod with pipes is not sponsored, so this i will update here smile.gif

I Gotcha. With mine I switched the rad to on top and the fans on the inside so I was wondering how you had your set-up too. Very Nice build with your other shinobi by the way smile.gif

Some better photo of the case.
Until my power drill has full charge in the battery... wink.gif

Megasize: -> www.howi.se/stuff/shinobige.jpg

Without and with flash, added both. Flash makes the colors go lighter.
