Hey OCN, I'm interested in dipping my toes into the water that is coding and programming, and I'm wondering if any of you guys know a decent guide of sorts that will help me learn the basics.
The reason I'm asking this is because I'm interested in taking a few Computer Science classes in college, and I'd rather have a background knowledge of the subject before I get into it. This may also help me decide whether I even want to take these classes to begin with.
I'm also curious as to how difficult coding is to learn if I'm to learn on my own, as opposed to attending a class.
Any suggestions, criticism, anything at all, please lend me your advice!
Thanks to everybody who lends me a hand here
EDIT: I should have specified which type of code, but that's also an issue as I don't know where to start, HTML 4 or 5, maybe C+ or C++?
