your 6770 and 5770 are the same, they just rebranded the 5770.
Just like the 8800GT and 9800GT was rebranded.

Your best option would be to run them in crossfire for now so you get at least the performance of an HD6870

ah cool i didn't know or read the 5770 and 6770 cf was supported.. i had sold the 5770 but will unload the 6770 to the friend i sold it to, thanks all for the help i think i learned everything i need to know and will be buying a 7950 for $125 for 2 gig off another friend that's upgrading to the next gen when it comes : )
