Sent a quote request to MNPCTech to see what custom case options might resolve the above,

I'll update when i have more info.

Edit... I think I am having one of those days today where I am forgetting things.

I removed the main red cover from the sound card and its going to be powder coated blue early next week. I think it will be safe to remove the red cover on the dsp itself and get that done to.

I'm also going to either change the LED's to blue, or color over them in black marker smile.gif

Seeing there isnt a great deal to do at the moment, I figured id dig out and start the design for lighting.

As you can see I have Lighting, lighting and more lighting, lighting smile.gif

This isn't the complete amount yet, still working on some of it.

I also have spare connectors and pins for usb, cathodes, 2 and 3 pin connectors for use with the powerboard wiring which will make all leads a solid cable without cable joins.

It might look like a lot but I assure you its going to be quite minimal when operatioinal, and seconds will be able to be turned on and oif

Oh god, I was hoping that the pictures would never end and BTW its looking AWESOME!

A little curious to find out what lighting your using if any at all, Are you going to use UV lights or Blue lights? I'm hoping to upgrade my rig soon with Gelid Wings and I'm still deciding about UV Cathodes or Blue Cathodes.

Anyway subscribed to the thread cant wait for more updates! Good to see some sweet work from Straya.

Hello, Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately we are not performing any custom work thru 2014 due to overwhelming commitments, but here are some resources Mnpctech.com recommends for help in creating your custom PC parts. Mady Tortis

Guess i will have to start hurting down a sheet metal place.

Made this table of all 360mm radiators today,

There are plenty of options to fit 2 radiators into the front panel, but none of them close to the build quality of the aqua computer radiator.

In the table you can see the width for the aqua computer radiator (line 3) is 10-15mm larger than the rest of the rads, which has caused the screws to fail to line up

It's Sunday here, I'm hoping to find a metal work place tomorrow that will make me a panel that will work with these rads (or with another MORA-3 rad)

Other than that, there's no much more I can do or update.... frown.gif

Whew, I am late to this thread, but it's looking amazing! It's great to see another U2UFO-Ex builder!

Certainly not the ideal solution, but you could buy the AX360 and take them out from their shell and make your own shell if need be. lol. I personally wouldn't do that I'd just make some sort of conversion plate, easy enough, but just a thought. Hope you get it figured out soon.

I did this mockup last night (its not perfect - but it should give the metal fab place an idea)

This panel would allow me to run a second MO-RA3 on top of the case.

It will mean an extra 6 fans would have to be worked into the design but my fan controller still has a 30watt channel left that can power up to 9 fans.

The other option would be to use a 4 x 180mm version (instead of 9 x 120mm)

Would be easier to cut the panel for and I could center it above the motherboard.

Perhaps its time i finally went and bought a full dremel setup including the press attachment and just buy sheet metal and do it all myself.

Then have it powder coated.

Once this build is done my next build would need to consist entirely of custom panels. I'm planning to do the next one when 780gtx's come out.

Only downside with the 180 is fan selection...
