I didn't like the amount of heat the 580's generated, especially in summer. Even though they would be under 40 degree's in temperature monitoring apps (this was with a pretty big overclock to), the amount of heat coming from the radiators when playing a game would heat up an entire room.

My better half doesn't mind the heat it creates so it worked out for the best smile.gif

At the moment much of Australia is in disaster recovery due to the Brisbane floods. I am working long hours (12-16hr work days) due to many of our clients having Brisbane based holdings.

It's also slowed down the package/postal network meaning its near impossible to get anything from the eastern states and overseas.

I received my acrylic dril parts this morning, several days later than expected.

So whats the difference between this and a metal drill bit??

The acrylic drill bit has the pointed end, this is to prevent the drill bit from gripping on to the plastic and cracking the hole either internally or at the exit/entrance to the hole.

For a small project this probably is not important. But after I finish with this one I'm creating a custom case from scratch so will need these toys smile.gif

At the moment my weekend is clear to start on the perspex parts, lets just hope nothing else goes wrong with the Brisbane floods.

Yikes, sounds like you're going to be pretty busy. Stay safe out there.
