Depends on which source you read,

Some have said 3 sli is maximum,

Others have said 4 will be available after a driver update.

Connections wise, the card has the appropriate amount of SLI interface ports to support 4 way sli.

Until nvidia provide a solid answer on this subject I thought it would be better safe than sorry so reserved 4,

I can always drop back to 3 if need be smile.gif

Ah I see, they do have 2 SLI connectors. It would be awesome to have quad sli.... drool.gif

You should be good with that blade now. Im only using a jigsaw and dremel plus manual sanding for my build which ive the log in my sig . I know its not straight but with a lilttle bit tweaking i still can accept it. Guess youre such a perfectionist tongue.gif

4 titans is just amazing, the overclocking monitor feature is interesting

Totally double subbed this log

I stand corrected, direct from nvidia's product brief

"NVIDIA SLI Technology

Used by the most demanding gamers worldwide, SLI technology lets you link up to three GeForce GTX Titans together for astounding performance. And with NVIDIA’s track record for fast and frequent software updates, you’ll not only get the best performance in existing games, but future games too."

Looks like im not going to need to move the raid card to the back of the motherboard tray after all,

As I'll have a pic-ex 3.0 16x slot free, vacated by the 4th 680gtx.

Oh well, now that I have all my acrylic tools its going to make my next custom case project easier to do, so no loss there.

As soon as my supplier gets the cards in I'll let you guys know,

In the meantime I'll focus on getting the system finished (2nd PSU in, tubing rerouted, etc)

Edit. I've sent a private message to nateman about the ETA for the custom waterblock, waiting to hear back but i believe its close to completion, so that will provide plenty to do smile.gif

I checked out your build man, looks really good. Maybe I need to take a leaf from your book and not put so much pressure on myself for exact cuts smile.gif

edit. this is the current update from nateman, cant be too far away now smile.gif

Update:

Supplier is expected to receive the Titan cards between the 8th and the 15th of March and I have placed 3 on hold.

Update:

Purchased a 6040 tabletop CNC router today and various different types of bits and pieces (some made for acrylic).

At the moment I'm putting real thought into overhauling the top panel so i can fit an additional radiator in it. (hidden from the top via plexi).

Depending on how that goes I may also enlarge the front panel so that I can fit both of the autacomputer radiators (from early in this thread).

Oh and the EK waterblocks order is as follows.

All the parts will have plexi tops this time instead of black acetal (I prefer the UV lighting illuminating the liquid inside the blocks smile.gif

2 x EK-RAM Dominator - EN (Nickel) EAN: 3831109815144
4 x EK-RAM Dominator Module - Black (2pcs) EAN: 3831109857069
1 x EK-Supremacy - Nickel EAN: 3830046990563
1 x EK-FC Bridge TRIPLE Parallel CSQ Plexi EAN: 3831109856925
3 x titan blocks (plexi top over nickel)
3 x baclplates smile.gif

Will keep you guys posted over the weekend as I draw up the cab plans for the top panel.

I don't know if your following all the threads Titan threads, but in this one: http://www.overclock.net/t/1363131/hwbot-k-ngp-ns-geforce-gtx-titan-at-1750-3400mhz/0_20 a video is posted of guys cooling titans with LN2. You might be interested, because they were benching with 4 titans, not 3. Just thought you might like to know, if you hadn't already seen it.

Thanks for the link, If 4 cards work in SLI then im going to go 4 way smile.gif

Update, blocks all ordered and paid for, I've ordered 4 just in case quad sli works tongue.gif - thanks Eddy from Ek waterblocks for helping me out smile.gif

Invoice below, I ended up just going for the plexi topped ek supremacy and plexi topped titan blocks.

I've opted to use my bitspower crystal links that i purchased earlier for joining the cards together rather than the EK ones.

On a side note, I have an option to use different thermal pastes for the CPU as I will need to re seat the new acrylic topped block.

Currently I am using prolima PK-1 which seems to be working fine.

But I have some indigo extreme in a box somewhere as well as some cool laboratory liquid ultra,

What is everyones preference out of the 3 different options ?

For my GPU's I'm using Noctua NH1 as it is non conductive, but if someone knows of a better alternative please let me know smile.gif

Edit

I'm still yet to receive any communication from nateman about the customized south bridge block >< will give him a few more days to reply.

With the possibility of quad sli titans, I've decided to finish the acrylic mount for the raid card,

This will be finished by Sunday. This is a firm deadline as I have the weekend free to complete it.

For the top panel, I'm working on a design that would see the introduction of a 3rd 360mm radiator, which will provide cooling for the ram and mosfet.

Which leads on to my next announcement. I'm swapping from the corsair ram I have to 4 x 8gb sticks due to the board not overclocking well with 8 sticks.

I'm undecided yet but expect an announcement of which ram in the coming days smile.gif

Also you might have read earlier in the thread that the 24pin cable was about 20cm too long,

I've begun work on a much shorter cable, this one uses black wiring and has very little color bleed.

This is my progress so far, I'll be working on it over the next few days.
