Thanks for the link, If 4 cards work in SLI then im going to go 4 way
Update, blocks all ordered and paid for, I've ordered 4 just in case quad sli works
- thanks Eddy from Ek waterblocks for helping me out
Invoice below, I ended up just going for the plexi topped ek supremacy and plexi topped titan blocks.
I've opted to use my bitspower crystal links that i purchased earlier for joining the cards together rather than the EK ones.
On a side note, I have an option to use different thermal pastes for the CPU as I will need to re seat the new acrylic topped block.
Currently I am using prolima PK-1 which seems to be working fine.
But I have some indigo extreme in a box somewhere as well as some cool laboratory liquid ultra,
What is everyones preference out of the 3 different options ?
For my GPU's I'm using Noctua NH1 as it is non conductive, but if someone knows of a better alternative please let me know
I'm still yet to receive any communication from nateman about the customized south bridge block >< will give him a few more days to reply.
With the possibility of quad sli titans, I've decided to finish the acrylic mount for the raid card,
This will be finished by Sunday. This is a firm deadline as I have the weekend free to complete it.
For the top panel, I'm working on a design that would see the introduction of a 3rd 360mm radiator, which will provide cooling for the ram and mosfet.
Which leads on to my next announcement. I'm swapping from the corsair ram I have to 4 x 8gb sticks due to the board not overclocking well with 8 sticks.
I'm undecided yet but expect an announcement of which ram in the coming days
Also you might have read earlier in the thread that the 24pin cable was about 20cm too long,
I've begun work on a much shorter cable, this one uses black wiring and has very little color bleed.
This is my progress so far, I'll be working on it over the next few days.Edited by soth - 2/21/13 at 2:59pm
