More Pic's including side by side comparison between the old sort (QD3) and the new QD4's after work (6pm AEST)

I bought a large amount as some are 3/8 and G1/4 threaded and can be directly attached to any g1/4 fitting and some are for 1/2 3/4 tubing. This will provide more options when I'm redoing the loop.

I'll also be using them in my custom acrylic build that will follow this one smile.gif

As for the Titans, they are listed on my suppliers website as in the "packing" phase, hopefully they ship later today smile.gif

Hello,

I actually didn't even know about those quick disconnects things before reading your thread

What will you use those QD things for ? Where will you place them ?

Thanks

Their most common use is as an easy way to drain you loop without needing to undo fittings, cut tubing or create a fill/drain tube.

You can also use them as an easy way to add/remove components from the system without draining the loop completely.

I will be using them in several places:

1) Return from the CPU/MB loop to enable easy draining of CPU/MB Loop
2) Return from the GPU loop to enable easy draining of GPU Loop
3) Inlet/Outlet of the 1080mm radiator to enable me to remove it (and the side panel) from the system to access the huge amount of wiring the runs down the side of the case, clean or replace any of the 18 fans, access the drive bays, access or replace the PSU's and access the raid card that will be mounted on the back of the motherboard tray.

edit: It seems that you have not updated your GPU section on the main page.

Front Page text now updated to reflect numerous changes to components, when I get some time this weekend I'll update all the images on the front page also with progress / changes to ensure there is no further confusion.

This build is insane! Great job man, can't wait to see it all finished.

I'd love to put together something like this in the future, for now it's college college college biggrin.gif

I know how that feels man, When I was doing my degree at university I had to live on Mi Goreng noodles (20c per packet instant noodles) for a month because I had so little money!, but it was worthwhile in the end smile.gif

I have no doubt one day you'll build something like this biggrin.gif

Now for some pics

After Dinner I'm going to test the first card to ensure it works.

Then I'll take a few side by side pics of all four,

I will then take the heat sink of the first card that has been tested piece by piece and take pics.

If there's anything specific you would like a picture of please let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate it smile.gif

Almost makes me sad the stock cooler isn't going to be on there for very long, haha. Definitely glad back plates are in the future though. Gorgeous card.

I'm curious to see things around the power. cheers.gif

I must admit when I was testing the first card, it was very quiet even at load, much quieter than my 680's were when I tested them,

I am also interested in the power setup, I will make sure I take lots of photos of the PCB.

It's interesting that it only requires an 8pin and a 6pin, I thought it would need 2 x 8pin.

I'm glad I'll have 2850watt's of juice to run all this hardware with, 300watt's per card and that's not even with an overclock smile.gif

And then there were four...

No offense, but I'm not really impressed by anything like this anymore.

It's cool, but only for a short period... until you realize that the act becomes more attuned to something like greed and happens to be doing it just for the sake of showing off. jealoussmiley.gif

Regardless of what is intended, I see this sort of thing nothing short of greedy toward the builder of said PC. When 10,000 units are all that will be produced, ONE person buying four seems just screwed up. Again, it's cool, but meh. Nothing is that amazing anymore... and K|ngP|n did it already.
