more power:sli or crossfire?

Thread Starter
if you take an sli set up with the same performance as the crossfire equivelant which requires more power and generally a better psu?
and a secondary question: i was searching around for ram and such and found some ocz ddr800 that said crossfire edition, what is special about this ram that makes it better for crossire than other ocz ddr800 or do they just say that its crossfire edition so people with crossfire will spend the extra money and get it instead of the other stuff?

Depends entirely on the cards used

CF certified RAM is nothing more than a marketing ploy

Very true boredom. Very dependant on the cards used.

Currently, 8800GTX sli will consume th most power, but then, they are twice as powerful as any other card on the market.

As for ram, I don't think it makes a difference, except for the fact that if something doesn't work, you can take it back and say that it was certified.
