H100 replacement fans

Thread Starter
Im looking for some fan replacements for my h100 as one of the fans is doing my head in, makes this odd tick tick tick, its not smooth like the other one so thought i might aswell replace both, will these be alright? http://www.scan.co.uk/products/120mm-corsair-air-series-sp120-high-performance-edition-high-pressure-2350rpm-6274cfm-35db-3-pin-twi i know they arent as good as the stock but they are a bit quieter and i only have my h100 dial at low so im not bothered about that.

Also saw these http://www.scan.co.uk/products/120mm-corsair-air-series-sp120-quiet-edition-high-pressure-1450rpm-3785cfm-23db-3-pin-twin-pack but i think they might be a too big sacrifice in performance for the quiteness they offer.

Any other good suggestions?

Noise Blocker Black Silent Pro, Scythe Gentle Typhoon, Noctua, Yate Loon are all excellent fans. They range in price and noise level. Pick your poison thumb.gif

NBs and GTs would be the better of those choices for the static pressure they offer.
You could also get some Swiftech Helixs, they're only $8 a pop here in the US (not sure what pricing/availability is there though)

there will be a noticable temp increase when using any fan other than the H80/100 fan.
the only ones would be 3000rpm+ screamers.
wit that said, its how much can you do without for the quietness. i know i could live with
the balanced mode easily. bolting on the SP120 perf undervolted to 7v had that same
whisper. the SP120 quiet would be even quieter. my temps on a dual fan set was 7°
warmer than just the two OE fans. on 12volt 4° warmer. so a simple calc would put
the SP120 Quiet @ 12v 8°-12° warmer.
in a push/pull configuration similar rise in temps accross the board, but against a
dual H100 fan set and P/P SP120 1° warmer @ 12volt, 3° @7volt

hope this helps.. ohh and another thing, you will not be able to use the H100 controller
for the SP-series fans (or any other fan).. they will run 100% with no control...

Thanks for everyones help, i'll have a good look around.

Why will any other fan run at 100% all the time with no control when plugged into the h100?

Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120mm Focused Flow PWM Cooling Fan
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/120mm-noctua-nf-f12-pwm-focused-flow-pwm-cooling-fan-quiet

120mm Scythe Gentle Typhoon 1850 RPM Cooling Fan
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/120mm-scythe-gentle-typhoon-1850-rpm-cooling-fan

Ive found these as per your recommendations, and i take it the noctua would be the better buy? think its static pressure is 2.6 its just that its expensive and looks horrible, is there any fan with the noctuas performance/quietness but is just black or something?

Just noticed the nf f12 is actually only 54cfm and not 93 as scan have gotten it wrong, thats actually 93m3/h. Still seem like good fans though.

@itznfb, the cougar doesnt give much static pressure and the sp120's are to loud.

So, its down to either the NF-f12 or the GT 1850

EDIT http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qAvH3yJ_A8
Think im pretty much sold just from whatching that video.

35dba is too noisy. Atm i will go with the f12's unless someone can recommend me a better one. And i'll go for the f12 over the Gt atm.
