BenQ XL2411T - Page 3

I'm afraid I don't know but I wouldn't rule out a release outside the UK at some point in the future. I've contacted BenQ about this and am awaiting a response. It doesn't seem to make sense to restrict it to the UK market you're right. thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

It's confirmed that its UK market only. I got in contact with benQ not much later after I made the thread. Sucks, but oh well.

That doesn't mean it won't be released in the future necessarily. Maybe that's a bit too optimistic, you're right. The XL2420TX for example was never released in the UK initially but a year later it appeared. There's always the ASUS VG248QE to consider which should be available globally with any luck.

Just ordered one to play around with the motion-blur reducing 2D Lightboost testing.

You can get it shipped to the US for ~$400 (no VAT) which is pretty reasonable.

This and the Asus 24" 1ms 144 Hz panels will be the fastest LCD's out there, especially for 2D Lightboost.

For those in the North America, and don't have access to the the XL2411T. Looks like BenQ will be releasing a new monitor very shortly, possibly 144hz.

Amazon, Newegg, etc are all sold out on XL2420T's. Prices are sky rocketing on ebay as well.

There's no point on looking for a XL2411T if you're in the US. The Asus VG248QE is basically the exact same monitor as the XL2411T. Runs the exact/extremely similar display but with a different stand.

I guess that's what I'm getting then. Now to look into this 2d lightboost trick.

the PWM flicker scares me on these displays though!
