Are you saying that if any of the multiple monitors is more or less than a certain resolution all other monitors will be feed the same higher or lower definition?
In that case, since I have two Graphic Cards, I would use one solely for the 2K monitor.
Is that what you meant?
Also I have 1 Display port in each G. Card.
How would the use of that affects the GPU?

The question got kind of lost through the post replays.
My original concern was that not all HDMI receivers (at the monitor end) are 1.4 and can therefore deal with resolutions higher than 1920 x 1080.
Only version 1.4 can apparently receive 2K and 4K.
All I wanted to know was if the Korean IPS line such as the ACHIEVA SHIMIAN QH270-IPS-TDP are capable of 2560 throug either HDMI or Display Port.
That was all.

The q271 claims to support 2560x1440 if you use a 1.4a cable and your GPU supports it (no laptops will over HDMI)
Also I have yet to see an X to HDMI adapter that will support over 1920x1200, so it would have to be straight from desktop GPU's HDMI out.

Could you point me to the page where you have seen that statement please?
I have practically looked through every advert and specs and found no mention of the 1.4 HDMI version being featured on these monitors.

I wonder if there is a model similar to the ACHIEVA SHIMIAN QH270-IPS-TDP (seems discontinued) also featuring Digital TV.rolleyes.gif
It would be a good tool for comparison when dealing with RED Cinema Files as I intend to use the monitor for.
(I can’t afford a 4K Monitor over & 10.000)mad.gif
