Quick question about the Z77x-UP7 Motherboard.
I dont know if you have ever monitored your board and have seen the temps of your board.
As you know I am running the Z77x-UP7 in a COSMOS 2 case and I have to say that I find
the temps I am getting in this case rather high, especially if I compare them with my ANTEC1200
case.
Right now all my harddisks are running at about 35C my antec would run them at around28C
and my motherboards temp is right now running at 38C / 39C while using my antec
I would get temps of about 28C soooo I am just wondering what your motherboard temps are and what
cases your using.
I am really doubting if I am going to continue using the cosmos 2 case, I might go back to a case like the Antec1200
if ofcourse I can fit the H100I in there.
Greetings from DrDeathhand
MOBO temps don't really mean that much unless they are crazy hot. Are you comparinig the UP7 in the Antec to the COMOS?
I doubt SIN is using a case since he does reviews and there would be not need to put it in a case.

Also, you can't compare your temps to someone else's, because they might have differant room temps, pressure, humidity, ext.

All the reviews I've read has this at the top of the 1155 list. A lil better than the MVE.

Well it needs to be, it is 350 euros. But I would love to own one. It is the pricetag that kills me. For the money of a UP7 and an i7-3770k I can almost get a 3930k with a cheaper less overclocking X79 mobo.

Sin, that new BIOS is awesome. My PSC wouldn't boot over 2450mhz with the F3 BIOS, but once I switched to the new one and changed Read and Write Slew to 3 I was booting at 2600mhz+.

This is great news. Greg, can you run a few quick benchmarks to see what the differance in the Slews are say at 2400 mhz?

Edit: I will try and do it if I have time this afternoon.
