Yeah board is amazing, love what Hicookie put into it. When is come to OCing and benching, the OC boards hands down are the best. http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2544318 thumb.gif

There are motherboards that are not as good for the same price.
I just won one at the Mi LN2 event. http://www.overclock.net/t/1295114/ocn-n2oc-october-13th
Hobiecat and Noguru both benched one there and loved them. Noguru went to the atm and bought the board off the other winner.
We were all impressed with it and the UD7.
Nice man, congratulations!!

@DrDeathhand

noctua nhd14 height is only 40cm, so you need a memory under 40cm tall or so.
with dominator platinum u may need to remove the fins to get it fitted under nh-d14 as with trindentX

you can't remove the fins on the dominator platinums as they are part of the heatsink, you can however remove the lightbar.

HEy Guys,

Well, you know what, I made an other decision. I am not going to use the Noctua cooler, I am going
to try out water cooling for the first time, sooooo I am gonna try out the Corsair H100 (with noctua fans)

With that cooler you have no LARGE ass thing blocking everything and thus have enough room to
use the dominator platinum memory.

I am also trying to figure out which vidcard I should get for the Z77X-UP7 mobo. I have reserved an Asus 680GTX Direct CUII TOP card and a MSI 680 GTX lightning vidcard. But now I just saw the following vidcard from gigabye, an GV-N680OC-4GD card. Its also a 680GTX with a new Windforce cooler, 3 slots now (at least the front metal thing is 3 slots but when you check the card it self its still sort of 2 slots) and 4GB or ram soooo it looks like a nice card to. They also claim it does 28.3 DB during a futuremark run... sooooooo thats good to, nice and quiet. I also think that if I use that card in the Black PCIE16x slot I can stil use the bluetooth / Wifi card in the PCIE1x slot underneath that because if you look at the card is still smaller then the asus direct CUII cooler.

What do you guys think?

Yea the 1x black slots always will have bandwidth.

yea H100 is a great choice, that video card should be nice as well.
