your PSU choice is excellent . hard disk too is a good one. as for RAM consider spending a little bit more and getting corsair modules.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233202

since you aren't going to overclock a H77 motherboard should do fine. cost 70 bucks.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157303

as for the case well the NZXT Tempest really looks bad. with shipping costs 55. ANTEC 302 looks very nice and has good cooling efficiency . amazon has the case for 60 bucks and free shipping. definitely worth getting the ANTEC 302 over the NZXT Tempest.

Don't accuse others if you're not even sure that YOU aren't spreading misinformation. There was a poster in gw2guru forums that did some benchmarks in wvw sieges and heavy DEs. You'll get a ~15% better performance in CPU heavy situations. When there is +100-200 people spamming mass AoEs and there are thousands of numbers flying around, you'll see an improvement. And when you're sub 20 FPS in huge events, you'll appreciate every frame. Of course you won't see as much improvement when you are just runnign around in explorer area though, especially if you're running at 1440p/supersampling and maxing out your GPU that way.
Not sure how you want me to prove it, but do a search on gw2guru from people who did extensive WVW testing with hyperthreading.

Sorry about that. Looks like there is some truth to that afterall. My mistake. Quote from the guy with a 2600k & GW2 @ HT:

In GW2 I had only been doing PvE content so my system was in no way getting taxed to the fullest. I just hopped in a quick game and was finding processor activity in all of my instruction threads.

Good choice on the PSU.  This one is absolutely the best bang-for-your-buck.  You'll be extremely happy with it.

Ok. I am torn between two cases. I addressed this in other areas of the forums but I need a second opinion.

Should I get this? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133190
Or this? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146084

I really like how the Thermaltake Commander looks but I would be ok with going with the NZXT Tempest.

Well the NZXT has more room inside case to work with.

Personally I like the Cooler Master HAF cases. One of the highest quality cases that last. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119233

The only problem with this case is that it doesn't have front panel USB 3.0

9-9-9-24 is the RAM timing. It is the number of clock cycles that are delayed before information is sent to a CPU (also known as latency). The lower the ratio, the better.
