My WD Blue might be headed there too. Lol, I just really don't care, I keep everything backed up extensively. Drive failures ahoy- RAID1 and external, offline, RAID1.
Once I dropped two small magnets by a PC
that wasn't mine (but I did help them build it), its primary HDD got somewhat messed up afterwards. Thankfully, recovery of the data went very well. It wasn't messed up to any extent where the server could not recognize it. I think a few files failed, though. Whether it was a coincidence or not, I do not know. Thankfully, Seagate replaced the Samsung-brand hard drive with a Seagate brand one, and it's been fine since. Phew, glad I made it thru that one!
