Case Labs Paint?

Thread Starter
Ive been looking at buying a Case Labs Case! But Not sure What One yet... I really do like the paint that comes with it... I like the Flat Black. But If I wanted to paint it. Would you Sand Blast it first and get it coated with some kind of paint? Would Automotive paint work nicely? My Buddy's grandparents (basicly my grandparents too) own a shope where they do that kinda auto work. I could take it there and do all the work needed but Im just wondering if the DIY work is worth it or even smart to do.

Any info on this matter would be epic. I DID LOOK for other posts on this matter but i couldent find any... Im also new here and dont know my way around the site too well so admins please forgive me.

Thanks!

Just in case you haven't found it yet, there is Case Labs specific forum here http://www.overclock.net/f/380/case-labs . Posting in there might be more efficient because Jim generally responds to questions in there. You can also send a PM with your question or send him an email. As far as painting goes, they generally don't like to ship unfinished cases but you can ask them about that. Also, powder coating is usually the preferred method for custom painting those things but I have seen some done with automotive paint.

Actually, here is a thread that is very relevant to your questions...
