Has anybody tried this memory yet. I was thinking of getting it for my Z77 MPower build.

sounds like a marketing scheme. in this day and age, you could put pretty much any ddr3 in any motherboard and have it work with a few exceptions

That is some sexy ram even if the "Optimized" part is a BS. $100 isn't too bad for 16GB either...

MSI Z77 MPOWER Optimized DDR3 1600 8GB Kit (2 x 4GB) Dual Channel 240-pin (PC3 12800)

I was wondering if I buy two of these kits would it be ok or do i have to buy all four sticks at one time. I wanna have 16gb but they are out of the 16gb kits at newegg.

These things have blue lights on them so be careful. I don't quite understand having everything yellow and black but then having a bright blue light. However, Wouldn't take much to either cover them or change them or disable them i'm sure.

Im running the Mpower.. and currently having good fun using a Team kit of 2133 - 9-11-11-30 ... so far the RAM scales with voltage on stock timings and is stable at 2316mhz 9-11-11-26 with 1.71v

**also used Patriot "D2" kit of 2x4 ... 2133mhz @ 11-11-11-31 @ 1.65v.. which had roughly same top-speed limit.. and would only scale on CAS9 up to 1000mhz with increased voltage. Both kits are under 60$ at most US retailers.
