X850 atx cable problem

I have the x850 seasonic ps and the gigabyte ud5h mobo.

The 20pin connector won't fit in at all on my mobo. Tried everything. Anyone have any problems getting the cables to fit right?

The clip doesn't seem to want to slide over the part on the mobo.

Need to be patient and make sure that the plug and the socket are aligned/oriented properly.

I was thinking about taking the mobo out of the case and trying to plug it in that way.. not sure if you or anyone recommends that at all

This is the only cable im having problems with... none of the other ones are giving me this much grief

Im just afraid im going to put too much pressure and crack the mobo or something.
