I managed to negate the connectors for one of the modular PSU cables in my parts order
where can i get a 6 pin female connector to sata power?

Not 6 pin PCI but the kind like this

╔═╤═╗
║D│□║
╟─┼─╢
╣□│D║
╟─┼─╢
║□│D║
╚═╧═╝ (viewed from the wired side of connector)

To 15pin Female sata?

Ideally it only needs to be 20cm.

The difference is that socket #5 (the one under the clip) is square, not hex. However, normal PCIe plugs do still fit into the connector on the PSU. (I just tried it on my ST45SF-G.)

If you really want the correct one, it's

the PCIe one is this

Everything in its place, snuggled in tight.

2012-10-15_18-55-14_953.jpg

just gotta get the cables for the PSU done and shove that all over, then some cable management, then some exterior modification.

you can see the SSD hiding under the radiator and GPU, just below the MB

Benching right now.

Wiring is a mess with the stock cables and it kills me but I just got done working two weeks at expos so sleeved cables will come soon.

GPU is super silent at idle and only noticeable at load. Pump on the CPU has a little noise to it but Im hoping it fades with break-in.
the Asetek is cooling both components quite well at stock and hasn't even required the fans to really amp up yet. I have one driver from the Mobo glitch up and it is giving me errors at boot, although everything is functional and drivers are intact. Becasue of this I may reinstall windows tomorrow before i go much further other than PCmark, furrender, 3dmark and some diagnostics I havent run much and have only been working with timing the RAM.

I will provide more news when I have it, and just to add to the mounting database, my st45sf-g is really quiet, I guess I got a good one.

Edit:
also i want to thank the people that are following along and are interested. I wasn't intent on cataloging my process but after a few requests I am glad that I was swayed.
Feel free to shout out any suggestions, I already dropped $100 on cable and sleeving materials, still need to hop on a milling machine for the front panel, and have to get into OCing but I am here for the people too.
