Problems with my PC

Thread Starter
I have a core i5 first generation processor
4GB DDR3 RAM 1033Mhz
500GB HDD
1GB Saphire DDR3 VRAM
DH55TC Intel motherboard
Case with 330W switching PSU

Problem:

Firstly, when i start my PC, i got an error which said that there in an error on the hard drive and requested for an Backup. I have the backup, but still the PC worked just fine.

Then, a few days back, when i powered on my PC, it did not start and now it continuously flashes the main screen that usually appears at the start with intel logo and other information.

I have already tried replacing the RAM, HDD, and VGA Cards within a working system and they all are fine.

Now where do i proceed ???
Advice

I'd recommend trying a solid power supply before changing anything else, if possible. Since you don't specify, I have to assume that it came with the case, and is therefore probably bad.

okay, i contacted and replaced the PSU from the shop where i ordered the parts from with a Mercury 230W switching model, and after one week, the PC is now again inhibiting the same symptoms it was doing before. but now it has fried the VGA card, and the HDD. (VGA HD 5450 and HDD Seagate 1GB 7200rpm)

What would you suggest?

Because you replaced a crap PSU with a crap PSU.

Get a PSU that isn't crap, ie. one that costs more than $15.

This is pretty much the solution.
