*3770k* Successful De-lidding. Attempt 3. - Page 11

Just de-lidded my 3770k today. I used AS5 on the die, while i am waiting for my cool laboratory PRO, I used PK1 for the heatsink. I am running 4.7GHz at 1.356v with a swiftech block and rad. Temps get a little high running Prime95, up to 85c! Hopefully the CL Pro will help out.

edit: Fixed my decimal error.

I'd imagine that things would get a little hot at 3.56v!
What was your actual voltage? tongue.gif

From his picture it looks like 1.356 Decimal place is wrong and forgot the one in front.

Sorry. I did forget to put the one in there.

I know the AS5 has a break in period, but I wanted to try it anyway. I'm excited to try the CLP.

Well at least you know it works. Was the chip brand new or have you been using it awhile before you delid it?
I have been running on the chip for almost a month. I had read in a couple of places that running on the chip would make it harder to get the lid off, but it took less than 10 mins. Never tried taking the lid off a CPU before.

That awesome, I have about 80 hours on mine, half of which it had the crappy stock Intel cooler. Hopefully will get to do mine this week.
