Whoever said the 7950 is faster at high resolutions hasn't seen any data, the 670 matches a 7970 at 1600p.
AMD dropped the prices when a 670 at release beat the 7970 at 1080p/1200p and cost much less.
If you want to save money and lose on some performance, the 7950 is a solid choice.
they're about the same performance when overclocked; look at that HardOCP review. The 7950 performed very closely to the 670 in most of the games that they tested at 1080p 4x MSAA, and it performed better in some games at 1600p.
Haven't Nvidia's drivers been crappy lately or something like that? I haven't heard anything bad about ATI's drivers for the 7000 series, and they are superior drivers for multi-monitor usage.
Also, by higher resolutions, people are talking about triple monitor.Edited by Art Vanelay - 10/5/12 at 4:49pm
