I was doing some target practice with my double-barrel 12-guage a few weeks ago. My shoulder was all kinds of funny colors for a week and a half afterwards. Maybe this controller will bring that experience to the video game world! Just imagine having to decide what weapons to fire based on how sore you are. "Shoulder's too sore for the sniper rifle, better stick to the .223 this week."

From a 12 guage? You're holding it wrong doh.gif

Edit: Oh, double barrel...assuming you're firing both at the same time...maybe...Still holding it wrong thumb.gif

I was holding it just fine. I shot off probably 30 - 40 rounds (shooting at clays) in half an hour. It's a VERY light shotgun and has a hardwood stock with no padding of any kind. It's also older than I am. One of my buddies shot both barrels at once and he's maybe 120 pounds. He almost fell over from the recoil. Thankfully we got it on video.

I wish I had a picture of my buddies shoulder a few days after I took him skeet shooting. I've never seen such a big bruise.

Noobs will be noobs... A full size 870 pump with trap rounds is really almost nothing. 3" mags will leave a bruise if shot incorrectly, yes.

And for just about any shooting scenario short of a rifle scope, both eyes should be used. Really anything shy of 4x mag in combat is a two eye situation.

Because that's the entire point of the controller, game immersion. Do you really think this is meant to serve as an advantage?

Lol, the funny thing is that some people actually think that real combat is just like COD and because they have trained their eye hand coordination and thumb reflexes that they could go dominate for a solid 34-3 game In real life with live ammo and no perks against fully trained and battle hardened soldiers who wasted time fighting in real life rather than in a grundgy studio apartment.

Yea i said it.

I guess some people just aren't equipped well to handle pain. Nut shots are a different story altogether..

Seriously man, I can see how you can say it dosen't hurt maybe when put into comparison with breaking a bone or something. But if you get run up on within 10 feet and get lit up with 5 or 6 shots with a paintball gun shooting at 300fps, that is going to hurt. I don't care if your a seasoned navy seal (although they wouldn't admit it).

What about these pictures say it's nothing more than a little "sting?" You might say that to your buddies but be realistic here. Like I said, it's not breaking a bone, but it sure as hell isn't a simple little sting (taking into account some of the worse possible situations, which are far from seldom).

Looks cool. I wonder if they will ever consider putting a small LCD screen inside the scope for sniping.

This is my weapon
This is my gun.
One is for fighting.
One is for fun....

That thing does look cool. Reminds me of one of the demo's that the Army put on during an I/ITSEC show several years ago. I thought I was king of the shooters until I picked that thing up and got my butt handed to me. I went back every chance I could get and stood in line for another try. By the end of the conference I was doing pretty well and could beat anyone but the military guys. I kept begging them to send a demo unit to my lab at SGI.

Allright, let's put thing clear: if you play with people having at least half a working brain, these kinds of thing DO NOT happens. That is the result of idiots who can't follow basic safety rules like ''Do not shoot when too close'' or ''Wear something else than a thin T-Shirt and skinny jeans when playing with hi-speed projectiles''. I have been playing paintball for 5 years, both in commercial fields under regulation and the backwood with hot-shooting markers. It hurts, and it will always, but I never had and nobody I play with had these kinds of ''bruises'' (forgot how they are called). The only bruises I ever had, which went away after 3 days, was during an indoor match: the guy hand powder-pellets and blind-fired behind a wall when I was 3 feets away. When playing, sweatpants under some jeans are the best.

Sorry for the rant, but I get frustrated when people spew this kind of pictures without prior experiences.
