I'll pass unless there is a 32GB version.

I'll pass.

It's probably a S4 Pro (APQ8064) unless it's a S4 Prime (MPQ8064).

I doubt they would use a S4 Play (MSM8625Q, MSM8225Q) on a Nexus flagship. Especially since the S4 Play only support up to 720p.

Doubt it. It's probably a Prime. Remember it is a relatively inexpensive off contract device.

This just in,
CNET confirms the "rumor"
http://news.cnet.com/8301-1035_3-57526808-94/google-lg-to-unveil-nexus-phone-at-the-end-of-the-month/

So there will be other manufacturers as well: Samsung, Motorola, HTC.. I'll probably pass on the LG one and take a look at the other ones, definitely a nice approach coming from Google to allow multiple manufacturers create the Nexus brand of phones.

I think you're talking nonsense... The S4 Prime platform is aimed at smart TV and home theater applications.

Guess I'll pass on this and hope that this rumored update to Google's Nexus line of devices will allow for one with a microSD slot.

Like I said before, don't put your bets that there will be a microSD slot. Nexus devices don't have microSD slots since Nexus One. If it has a microSD then okay, but as long as theres 32GB (and a optional 64GB version present) then microSD becomes irrelevant.

1. No SD card is going to be hard to make me switch to a nexus
2. How can this be a nexus if it has LG bloat shoved up it? (according to the promo video).
3. Non-removable battery is gross

I'm liking my SG3 but would be willing to replace it with a nexus since it looks like Google is going for a really really competitive price. However I'd need at least a removable battery though. I wonder what the other manufacturers will look like.

The promo video is a video for the LG Optimus G. I included it to demonstrate LG's "next level battery."

Not the Nexus version. The Nexus version is not officially announced; hence, it is in the "rumors and unconfirmed articles."
We all know that there is a LG Nexus device coming (as well as a Samsung/HTC/Motorola one -- possibly)

Is this the phone that was rumored to have wireless charging ? Also the non removable battery is disappointing, I love swapping out batteries and being right back at 100%.
