Me racist? HAHAHA. So I stated how Chinese manufactures an inferior product. That Japan manufactures a better battery cell.
I'm Korean. If anything, I would choose a Chinese product over a Japanese product. But guess what? Quality of Japanese products are superior to Chinese products.
HK? So what if HK has their own legal system and only select places accept China's currency. It's still in China. Sure it's from the mainland and some things are sold from HK. But they are contracted through the same manufacturers. They are all made in China (mainland) not Hong Kong. I've questioned this with many companies that originate from Hong Kong.
HK companies have ideas and contract manufacturing to the mainland. Then they resell. China (the mainland) will continue to manufacture lower quality item even after they get decommissioned. Then they sell it without having to deal with the tolerance and quality control of the original company. They become replicas and counterfeits with lower quality standards. Since they don't care. It's all about the money.
Honestly. If I could, I would buy everything from Korea if you can or find a reputable US Seller. Do you know any of this from experience? Or are you just quick to pull the trigger and call me a racist over a battery?
Have I been burned many times from mainland China AND Honk Kong? Yes. I've purchased many items in bulk since 2002. Did Paypal cover me? No.
Do I still buy from both HK and China? Yes. It seems you are just ignorant to the facts. You can't even compare Foxconn with the other manufacturing practices of other companies. Most are just random shops that pop up all over China. Foxconn has an exclusive contract with with Apple and many other companies. They have standards and funding. They meet expectations and the products sell for hundreds to thousands of dollars. I never said all items from China. But most...
Don't tell me you think that a manufacturer has the same man power and equipment solely to make $6.99 batteries and you brought Foxconn into this conversation to accuse me of being a racist. There is a reason why a lot of auction leave out "genuine" and "authentic".
As a former Marine, that served to protect your freedoms... what if I was a racist?

Not really. You're not acknowledging anything without any valid evidence. You just point fingers at supposed racism.
This guy even removed Samsung as a trademark issue because it's a mystery special.
I bought a "OEM" back from him... it originated from mainland China. I had to get a replacement because of poor fitment.
Then the finish started wearing off and started getting scuffed because it's inferior to the real thing.

Watch out. He's gonna call you a racist for stating valid facts.Edited by chrischoi - 10/7/12 at 3:31pm
