Electric Orange [Complete] - Page 179

Sorry to hear about the blocks. That truly sucks, and that's my pet fear/peeve with water blocks.

Definitely no on titan, especially if SLI-ing them. GTX660 scales better lachen.gif

670 OC'd will reach 680-ish performance, if the numbers are true.

660 blocks aren't as smexy as the 680. 670 ftw and slap on HK 680 blocks and call it a day.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Nowhere did I recommend the GTX660. For this build, this would be "cheaping out". eek.gif
I just wanted to point that Titan scales like "/%/$?"/$? in SLI

Try running three screens wink.gif

Ah, more Titan "love". Still, happier then sli 690s thumb.gif

edit: remember, Titan is fairly new, once drivers mature, scaling should improve from an already impressive rate.

Still, I say a couple of 670s w/ 680 pcb to use some 680 blocks thumb.gif

I like your thinking werm. My OCD will force me to change that 680 on the block.
That will drive me Nuts. smile.gif

Used 680s? Don't buy into the 4GB unless you plan on running multiple screens and are going to push msaa. The 2gb is still beefy even for 1440/1600 screens. Be careful with evga as some use a custom pcb.

edit: BP blocks come w/ everything and would look awesome with some orange liquid running through them. Pain em included backplates orange w/ some black accents.
