Any good non voltage locked cards out there still? - Page 2

Thread Starter
Reporting back it finally came in today.

Immediately replaced stock thermal paste with Arctic M-4 (wiped some printed lettering off with my 100% isopropanol uh-oh) and put her to the test so far

ASIC - 100%... seriously lol on the dot
Max stable - 1341 mhz core on air @ 1.21 volts
Max mem - still trying to find it

Seems like this card can go much much much faster since the only thing stopping it is the poor cooling solution. Can only keep that with fans going at 100% so.... not exactly comfortable but with some other forms of cooling hmmmmm.

3Dmark - http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/4664642

Heaven ran at - 39.0 fps with everything maxed out @ 1680 x 1050

Wondering if turning vsync off would increase that score since it caps at 60 fps (with my craptastic monitors biggrin.gif)

Edit : flicking off full screen mode makes heaven benchmark go all the way up to 54 fps O_o very intersting

Going to be running tripple monitor as soon as my cables come in, 1680 x 1050 on 3 monitors.... in forever amazon takes years to deliver in canada and yeah.... more fiddling arround feel like a kid again
