They are tight, but really shouldnt be that bad... Try working it in with the fan out then install into the case when the screws go in easier.

If you want to get the screws out, you can use this trick:
http://lifehacker.com/5462520/remove-a-stripped-screw-with-a-rubber-band
or just use pliers and twist them out that way.

Appreciated mate, I have the long screws but no bolts, and my hardware store only sold bolts in large quantities (cost roughly 17 USD, which is kinda a lot just for bolts imo.) but I think I'll give it a shot, appreciate the feedback guys.

What are those rubber plugs though? Sounds interesting

I have some long screws from 120s mounted in the front of cases (they use long screws to reach), can I use these or should I purchase some new screws and bolts?

Thanks

You need fine thread bolts and nuts, forget screws if the invluded ones are too hard for u... Also check the screwdriver and ensure proper sizing.

Go buy a QUALITY #2 Philips screw driver.
Outside the case use a drill (with a screw bit) to pre-tap the holes, it should make it easier.
If problem persists get off the computer and go engage in some physical activity. Unless you have arthritis or whatnot and your hands don't work that well in which case ignore previous.

depending on fan selected, the hard plastic chassis are usually the hardest to screw down because
of the rigidness, usually LED and smoked/clear fans have this issue. the black frame chassis are
deffo alot to tighten down. yes the proper #2 Phillips-head driver works the best.

for the results on the hard plastics the heat solution works best for me, just gotta take the time.
not trying to burn it down, just so the plastic against the screw softens.

Could any of you link me to some screws with bolts and/or rubber ones from FrozenCPU.com ?

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/image/5245/scr-100_4.jpg/scr-100/Rubber_Anti-Vibration_Screw_4-Pack_for_Closed_Chassis_Fans_-_Black_RS-CC-BK.html

Would these be worth anything?

Regards

EDIT:

Or these perhaps?

EDIT2:

Also, if I purchase screws and bolts what size should I purchase?

For screws, get 6-32 or M3 screws and nuts that are over 1 inch long.
