Well if you want efficient you can't have cold unless you're doing a bong.

In terms of performance:
Air < Water < TEC < Phase < LN2 < Liquid Helium

In terms of power usage:
Air < Water < TEC = Phase

The modular chiller has power, but it's ideal to not cool an entire system with it. Just certain components; same goes with Phase

They run with a cop of close to 1. It takes about 150w to move 150w per tec chiller module at ~20dt @ 12v.

The reason I do single tec chillers that can be daisy chained is because I don't like to run more than one tec under my copper plates. the tecs aren't exactly the same size and so that makes it impossible to get a perfect seat on multiple tecs under the same plates like the ones you have shown at the beginning of this thread.

idea was with 400 watt tec unit on each side of the metal cooler and water blocks on each side

That's basically the same thing as two of the modules. Your way it just direct die.
