Ah right I had no idea, Molex always seemed pretty flimsy and I always feel the connection is never very good but that might just be me rolleyes.gif It's down as "New Other" on eBay so it's not even a used one. I'll make sure to get some close ups of it just to check if it's been used or not.

FYI, on 10/29/2012...ASUS released a BIOS update for my P8B-E/4L, which adds Server 2012 support. I will finally get to load Server 2012 on my storage box this weekend.

Your P8B-X had a BIOS update release on 10/22/2012, but it doesn't seem to say anything about adding Server 2012.

Server 2012 installer crashes with error ACPI BIOS ERROR. I emailed SuperMicro about it and was told engineers are working on a bios update.
