GeForce to Quadro Soft Mod

Thread Starter
Hi I have a Nvidia GeForce 640M LE (2 GB) graphics card. I downloaded and played around with the RivaTuner and then realized it does not support Windows 7 and modern Nvidia GPUs.

I did some research and the Quadro K2000M is basically the EXACT same hardware as the GeForce I have. If I could use the Quadro driver on my installed graphics card I would then theoretically have a working Quadro K2000M.

Can anybody PLEASE HELP ME!?

What's the point? It wouldn't change the performance of the card. You'd do better to overclock it.

After the 8xxx series, the mod is physically disabled. No way to soft mod it.

Terrible idea. Use MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision. They are both based off rivatuner and support your gpu and Windows 7.

So it is possible then? Using a different program? i.e. MSI Afternurner or EVGA Precision?

If so, I am very excited.

Does anyone actually know how to do this using either of these programs?? They look like they are for overclocking and monitoring. Is there a plugin that would allow you to do the driver mod so that I could use to Quadro driver?

Any help or direction MUCH appreciated!

Like a previous poster mentioned before, Nvidia closed this avenue of softmodding Geforces to Quadros on modern cards. You're beating on a dead horse.
You can still go from Quadro to Geforce but not other way around anymore.
