dust filter

Thread Starter 
decided after reading various threads to use all my radiator fans for intake. I have a switch 810 and receiving ut60 240 rad at the bottom, and xt45 rad 360 in the top. Ordered corsair QE 120 and 140 mm fans, but still looking for dust filters for the fans in the top. Any suggestions?redface.gif

Demicifilters are very good, but a bit pricey. See them here.
I used to use pantyhose. Cut a piece about the right size, tack in place with tape or an elastic (stretch it out) and then install fan sandwiching the pantyhose between the fan and the case. Works surprisingly well.

I take that the top fans are for exhaust? If they are you do not need the dust filters on them, you only need them on the intake fans not to allow the dust into the case, but if there is any dust inside already you do not want to stop it from going out, so do do not install filters on the fans blowing the air out!

no the top fans will be intake as well, only the aft for exhaust.
