My cousin was pretty much doing nothing at all, all he had open was chrome and his minecraft server-hosting program open. His screen just turns black and restarts, or alternatively he gets the BSOD.

His specs are:

FX-8150
Asus rupublic of gamer Crosshair V
AMD 4870
16gb dual-channel
Thermal Take TR2 600W

I personally think it's his powersupply because of their amaing repf or PSU's.

Any other ideas?

I remember something like that was happening to me when I had something on one of my (faulty) usb inputs. How much stuff he has connected to the PSU? (since you think it is that)
