Kdbsync.exe has stopped working?

I keep getting this message every time I start Windows, or "AMD Vision Control Center." It just started happening earlier today, and I have no reason as to why; because nothing has changed. I already tried uninstalling and re-installing the drivers and software, but, same thing happens.



Anyone know how to fix this incredibly annoying issue?

if your running 12.8 it should be fixed. If not then remove the adk runtime when installing under custom install

I'm running 12.6. I don't think 12.8 has HD3000 support. Won't matter for much longer though because I am looking to upgrade to something in the 7000 family.

I solved it by disabling ATi's "Drag and Drop file conversion" at startup. But, the problem still exists if I were to try and use Drag and Drop; so it's just a band-aid.

Thanks for the info, though!

In Uninstal a program on "AMD Calayst Install Maneger click "change" and in window choose "repair". (sorry for screenshot witn russian)

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I also have Catalyst version 12.6 but my hardware is the 4000 family. Uninstalling the "AMD APP SDK Runtime" component resolved this issue for me.

Here are the steps I took:

Open Control Panel>Programs and features
Click on AMD Calayst Install Manager then click Change
Click Next on the welcome screen
Click Uninstall Manager then click Next
Click Custom then Next
Check box next to AMD APP SDK Runtime then click Next
Click Finish

I wonder if this will fix both of my issues I'm having (the kdbsync.exe was one). I have 2 computers going, desktop and laptop. Desktop is wired to router, laptop is wireless. When logging into an online game, my net disconnects...for both. After trial and error I found I had to be offline on my laptop, log in with desktop...once on...go ahead and log back into my laptop. Otherwise the net was just completely blocked.
