haha lord, I was almost thinking of rigging something up a little crazy. Just installing drivers now, hoping to see how everything works. can't do much gaming till i get the gtx 280 later this week. Just hope this older psu can handle it hahaha. Thinking about ordering the asus monitor off newegg soon so I can have it in time for when I get the graphics card.

Need some opinions, Corsair ax750 = Good enough for an I5 rig/ sli/ single waterloop? I can get a great deal on that and the case I want for 215 shipped. Think that'll be enough juice? I'll probably be going with gtx 670's or radeons.

You still take everything out and put it inside of a an AWESOME custom made cardboard box with a removable back held together with duct tape and glue! Oh, don't forget about the 15" BOX FAN!

Haha. I would love to have seen that. I got an idea.
Instead of using the case as traditional I could put all hardware in the box the case was delivered in instead wink.gif
Have anyone made a Duct Tape ATX? It's said that one can build anything with it. oinksmiley.png

well I had a problem with the gtx280, its either a faulty card or the psu just can't support it. So just bought the new version Corsair HX750 for $130 shipped. So we'll see soon if its the graphics card. Very happy with the new system, just need to get the graphics card going so I don't have to play games on the lowest settings. I also bought a new monitor to hold me over till I figure out which way I wanna go. Its either a 24inch Benq xl2420t, or a catleap/shimian monitor. Will keep you guys updated on my upgrade progress. Next on the list is an ssd/hdd combo, then narrow down to the case. Few cases im considering are fractal midi, lian li PC-9F, obsidian 800d, but open to suggestions.

The Dilemma - Do I buy windows 8, or buy windows 7 64bit? I'm currently running a friends copy till I decide which way to go.

Good choice with the PSU. Corsair PSU's radiates quality and stability.
As for your SSD/HDD plan I suggest that you skip the HDD and go pure SSD, unless you really need loads of space. I use only a fast single 60GB SSD at the moment and I have Diablo III and Skyrim (with tons of mods) and still have 7GB free space.
My next buy when it comes to SSD's will be one 60GB SSD that I will raid with the old one and another 128GB or 256GB SSD with long lifetime for storage.
I will then create two partitions on the system disk. The first one will have windows installed and the other one will be dedicated to virtual memory.

Hope this gives you some ideas.
