Or perhaps a lowprofile chipset cooler and another fan blowing towards it..

Unlikely...sorry. But, using the images as a guide, you would be able to make your own.

so can i use super glue to mount the fan so it can blow on top of the card?
Yes. point the fan so that it is blowing down onto the Heatsink. If you can, give it a little angle so the airflow is not perpendicular, and therefore becoming turbulent.

ok so super glue is safe to use
Yes...carefully. You really want solid support as there will be torque and vibration involved. Personally I wouldn't use super glue alone. Also if you use any metal in the mod, make sure that it will NOT come loose, fall on one of the components and short something.

The record speed on 9250 = 310/210 by The_Suns_Shadow OR 305/220 by chiggz

source: http://www.overclock.net/faqs/29794-...hics-card.html

as for the jimmy rigging of fans, here's my handy work lol: http://www.overclock.net/1006673-post6.html

An idea that might solve your problem is some sort of duct/tube deal... like attach a fan to a funnel and the funnel to a tube and have that blowing on the heatsink... I don't know if that would work, but if it did, it would be the perfect solution to a video card crammed in a tight space

Nice job Killa.

I see that I misunderstood the original post. I thought that he was refering to a HS block, not a tfan alone.

JTD92, yep a fan behind the card will help a little, but ideally you want airflow over the mass that is drawing heat away from the die.
