My Left control key does work for some reason while ingame of CS:GO or L4D2. I just started noticing this and I have no idea how to solve the problem. I've googled a bit and found nothing. Here are some bullets to speed this along.

- keyboard is a generic LITE-ON model SK-1788U
- operating system is Windows 7 Professional X64 SP1
- there is nothing physically wrong with the keyboard. the ctrl key works just fine out of game.
- It works just fine in DOD:S. Perhaps it only effects the updated source engine games such as L4D2 and CS:GO
