Could be a conflict of interest if he was still employed by Sony or if Sony planned on using him for future promo spots. There had to be a reason why the Wii was in that Bridgestone commercial, that's an awfully large oversight on Bridgestone's part if they decided to just use the Wii. I don't think it's right but the same argument could be made in retail, most companies don't allow you to work for the competition at the same time.
