Hi guys, well I made the switch to nvidia.
Before I did a fresh install, I tested the card initially out on my old install and everything was fine. I was impressed as images on websites seemed to display faster for some reason and the cursor was no longer laggy in the UEFI.
I reinstalled the OS completely just to make sure there would be no conflicting files or the like. I haven't had much time to play it but everything seemed to be working fine in Skyrim, well that is until today.
I was playing for a good 30 minutes or so and was just walking out of falkreath, the game seems to be most demanding on the GPU in dense woodland areas and the screen flashed white once, and then a second time about a minute after.
I loaded back the save I was on just so I could replicate the problem and it did not occur, however I did notice when I past under a bridge, the screen would flash black with game objects in the background. I am able to replicate this problem in the near exact spot nine times eight times out of ten. (this is also where the the game flashed white)
GPU Temps seem OK at 71C which seems to be around the standard temp (considering it is reference) Perhaps this is just a bug with the game or something? I doubt it tho Edited by ChickenDippers - 11/4/12 at 3:59pm
