New Bios update for gigabyte HD7950 ! - Page 51

Belkov,
Hm... f43 bios is not suitable for my card... When I tried it became broken))) I suppose it means that my card and yours are different.
My hands are scratching for this bios update))) So may be will try to update tomorrow.
But my question is unanswered. Repeat a little, what does it mean"uefi bios" in description of the bios at the site of gigabyte?
UEFI is new platform wich is replacing the ordinary BIOS platform, but i really can't explain it very well in English. Just search in google. Basically it is a new kind of bios.

Yea I know the crashing is normal, I was just curious if the artifacting, even after reverting to stock clocks, was normal. But they go away after restarting my computer, but not until then, every time.

If artifacting appears in heaven on th stage when the camera turns around the dragon, don't worry - it is a heaven bug... Heaven is a little bit buggy, so don't worry if it is artifacting while you are playing it...
Well that's good to know, but my artifacting only happens after a driver crash, andat that point, it happens in all 3d programs (after it recovers). Restarting my computer is the only thing that fixes it when that happens.

Well I was fine on the F3 bios and I just flashed the FY1 bios which was made for my card and now my hdmi port doesn't work what so ever.

Great.

Any ideas other than going back to F3 guys? I would like to stick with this newer amd bios version on the FY1 bios.

What are the default voltages in FX1 and FY1? Any good results, are they any better over F43?

atiflash -f -p x name.rom

-f flash command

-p x = card number, figure out which card you want to flash with atiflash -i. If you only have one card it should be 0

F43 has a 900 Mhz clock speed and a 1.09 vCore

FX1, FY1, FX0 and FZ1 have a 1000 Mhz clock speed and a 1.25 vCore

Well, i made it that way and it did not work or may be it is true that the HDMI don't work with this bioses, because i succeded in flashing but there were no image... Well, i have only one DVI port and it is for my TV, and i really can't remember where is my DVI cable for the monitor, so i will stay with F43... smile.gif
May be i will try F3 now, just to see how much i can clock with it. smile.gif

Edit: Just tried F3 - it works flawlessly but my temps increase to much - it's not worthy... The one bonus is that i can clock to 1150/1700MHz only with CCC Overdrive... smile.gif
