Never mind.... I installed the FY1 bios and it works like a charm.I just wanted to ask if I undervolt a little will it be still stable ? Thanks for the help.

EDIT: Is it only me or the F43 bios was far better for overclock ?

I'm not sure for this new bios but i think you can't undervolt because GHz bioses usualy are voltage locked. You can try and check with some monitoring software like GPU-Z is it really undervolted or not.

F43 is the best BIOS IMO

All the "1000/1250" BIOSes are really bad for OC on my card

The FY1 bios is AWFUL for overclock. I don't know if it is just me or not. Also you are right that the voltage is locked. But at 1.25v I can go up to around 1130 / 1550 stable. I am keeping it becouse it says that there is better game stability. (I've had some issues with Battlefield 3 textures and now they are gone). I installed F43 again on my second bios. Do you think that the GPU will clock better if I install a BIOS for another GPU ?

I think F43 is going to be your best bet if your card is not voltage locked. That is what I am using and I have 1200/1600 going just fine with 1.225v on the core and 1.5v on the RAM.

I would like a newer source BIOS, but it doesn't look like gigabyte is going to be able to provide something that works any time soon.

Make sure to send a technical support message to them talking about your HDMI troubles on the new BIOS as they need to know and rectify it. I did, but I am sure we need more people reporting it.

Dear Edxxxxxx ,

Thank you for your further information. In order to provide your proper answer, please kindly provide us further information :

1. Whether VBIOS F43 is current VGA card BIOS version?
2. What utility that you used to update FX1 and FY1 VBIOS?

After confirming, FX1 and FY1 VBIOS are different series from VBIOS F43 or other VBIOS. According to How To Reflash BIOS? in VBIOS download page--Please note:
You can only update to a BIOS version of the same series. If your VBIOS version is:
F1, it can only be updated with VBIOS versions F2-F9.
F10, it can only be updated with VBIOS versions F11-F19.
F20, it can only be updated with VBIOS versions F21-F29.

Therefore, if GV-R795WF3-3GD current VBIOS version is F43, please do not update FX1 and FY1 VBIOS. If we release any new UEFI BIOS for F43, we will update it to our website. There is a RSS function on BIOS download page that you may subscribe to receive any update.

Furthermore, please also kindly understand that if you update VBIOS without using GIGABYTE utility instead of 3rd party software/utility, it may cause VBIOS got corrupt and not covered by warranty.

We would appreciate your further information and understanding.

Regards,
GIGABYTE

so according to you only FY0 can be updated to FY1 but until now never seen anyone with FY0, FX0 is common.

Well my best run with the F43 BIOS is 1220 / 1600 with 1.26v. Also the Drivers started to crash again. I will be staying with F43 for now.
