razer abyssus or logitech g100

ordered an abyssus from ebay - received it - fake (quite good fake, might i add). adns-5050 inside, noname buttons, scroll wheel actually better than the original:), IR diode, identical shape...

so i need to order some mouse again, now i'm taking a peek at the g100 also, and can't make up my mind. me likey likey g100 shape more than abyssus, but i'm scared what will performance be like. i am basically looking for first hand inputs from logitech g100 owners on it's performance, in comparison to abyssus (if possible).

What the ... is going on. Why do people do such things - ofcourse profit etc. but comon. Clothes, shoes and stuff i can understand. But mice?! Thats ridiculous. eek.gif not cool.

I got one too. Scroll wheel was worse though (opinion).

Quite easy to tell a fake without even opening, though, I wanted to see what they did internally. Heres what I wrote for another member.

125hz > 1000hz toggle switch on bottom. Mouse "reboots" in driver when switching positions (Another dead give away)
1000hz mode peaks @ 500~ max. < Points to weak controller.
Driver loads, but doesn't function with mouse.
DPI steps are all wrong. I don't even think they work properly.


I didn't even test the mouse^^

nothing much to test:) i figured out it was fake the moment i plug it in, malfunctiones at 1,5m/s. i find it funny that they took the effort of putting an IR LED. what was the point of that?

anyways, back on topic, how does g100 sensor fare out comparing to abyssus?

I didn't care for it. Poor firmware/hardware implementation on an already week sensor.

Abyssus is better even if it jitters on certain 45 deg angles via specifc pad.

took a trip to my local store, and was eyeballing logitech m90. from what i've seen it's almost identical in shape and size to g100. any info on it's sensor, performace?

Nore sure but I think same as G1v2 (S2020)
