Foxconn Technology Group, the assembler of Apple Inc. (AAPL) iPhones, had to stop production for the second time in as many weeks after factory-line workers at one of its plants protested against increased pressure.

The production on the iPhone 5 is on hold after thousands of workers went into strike to protest against the terrible working conditions. The situation is not new and has been a topic in the headlines without any apparent solution since Apple wants to keep their profit margins and their Chinese counterparts do the same.

An iPhone costs hundreds of dollars/euros in any shop but Asymco analyst Horace Dediu claims that each iPhone costs is about $30.

With all this extra profit maybe the workers could actually get a better salary. When you buy an Apple product you are also supporting this modern slavery policy.

Think about it.
