Question about mouse pad - Page 2

I use 9hd in games like bf3 it great there

The biggest thing to think about is if you like a hard or soft surface. The QCK series from steelseries is what I've always trusted. Simple and not expensive. Gets the job done.

puretrak talent for everyday use but especially for CS
post #14 of 20
I use my puretrak talent for FPS games where I have to use very low sensitivity. For RTS(SC2) I currently am using a steelseries 9HD hard mousepad mainly because of its size, it obviously tracks exceptionally well too.

If I had the spare money I would probably check out the puretrak stealth, even though I own the talent, the stealth being a solid black design is more to my taste.

The stealth isn't as big as the talent though, which may be a con for some. I find the talent is a good size for my sensitivity, with plenty of room for hard swipes. I play CS GO at 2 sens in game with 450 DPI setting on my deathadder.

x2 on the stealth as well especially if you dont have the desk space. same material as the talent plus it's $10 if you use N23ZH83 as a code for checkout (thanks whoever posted this on another thread). it worked as of 4 days ago when a clanny of my used it which makes it a ridonkulous deal.

Just to add a thought, I've known someone who've used a PureTrak Talent as they liked it very much. I never used it so I can't say. It's washable as well, I believe.

I can safely recommend the Razer Scarab mouse pad. I've been quite happy with it, using it with my Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0.

I had a useless gift card for bestbuy about a year ago and decided to splurge on the scarab to test it out, and I ended up keeping it. At the time I was looking for something to replace my cloth pad as I felt cloth was creating to much drag under my Mouse feet.

Can anyone briefly compare Scarab and 4/9HD?
