Yeah, adjusting particles and heap size. Nvidia claims in a write up on their physX site that you need a 660 or better to view all the particles...but it's all in the config. This capitalistic urge to keep people upgrading is getting really annoying since a 560 for gpu and a 260 max core for physX is running wonderfully when set to the same heap and particle value as the 680guid will set it at. I'm only seeing around 48-62% usage on the 260...so clearly they are just trying to push new product. It seems like several games are marketing physX lately that clearly don't have support. I've given up on figuring it out for this game and I'm just convinced that support just isn't there. I saw someone say that grenades will cut bodies in half with physX enabled...I haven't tested that yet to see the before and after though.
