So to save myself with problems, i should just forget about buying the PS3, alright then.

EDIT: i might get one actually, very hard decisions, all my friends have one and im the only one out.

is the PS3 Super Slim bad? because the stores only sell those right now.

am I the only console loving dude here in this forums? pc is fine and all but having a consoles has its perks. some exclusive sports games, rpg's, jrpg's etc. I don't care what most people say. FF13 and FF13-2 was awesome and both are masterpieces.

No you are not, but with next gen consoles just over a year away (I'm making an educated guess here), I see very little reason to buy a PS3 (or a 360 for that matter) since, as far as I know, no real exclusives are planned for PS3 (not sure on 360)

super slim is fine. the newer ones will always be better. afaik they're die shrinks so they will consume less power and will run a lot cooler killing the possibility of ylod's in the future. my first ps3 died and trust me it wasn't a pleasant experience. im rocking with a ps3 slim now I do admit the original fat version looked much better.

If you have your eyes on one or more exclusive titles you'd like to play, then go for it. But seeing as the question stands now, my answer is no. Especially with the PS3 being years and years old now.

if you play just for the graphics then the ps3 is not for you.


playing on a highend pc is great but there's still a lot of games even though they're not as graphically appealing as pc games, they're still hella fun. I have no idea why most people esp the younger gamers play for just the graphics these days. there's more to games than just graphics

Consoles are so cheap these days I would spend the money on a PS3 even if a new one comes out in a years time. If you have not played any of the exclusives on the PS3 yet your really missing out on great games.
